I’m Tim Saddoris. I run Grand Onyx.

After two decades building sales systems across dozens of industries, I chose to focus on just one: stone fabrication. Everything Grand Onyx does, I’ve built by sitting at fabricators’ kitchen tables — not from a conference stage.

I understand how complex your business is — and that every decision you make carries significant consequences.

Your business has zero margin for error. A mis-cut slab is thousands gone. A wrong measurement means the whole job is redone. A templater forty minutes late on a Wednesday quietly wrecks the rest of your week.

I don’t take that lightly. I’ve watched too many talented owners pour everything they have into the craft, only to be told by another marketing company or another consultant that the answer is to spend more.

You don’t need more advice. You need a system that works — and someone who’s willing to sit down and prove it.

It started in my
father’s shop.

The reason I build systems for a living traces back to one room — and the day I learned a business can’t live inside one person’s head.

When I was twenty years old, my dad died — and our family business died with him. There were no systems, no process, no one who could step in. Most of it went to the grave with him.

A week after the funeral, I sat in his shop. His toolbox was still on the bench. His handwriting was still on the paperwork on the clipboard. Twenty years of work — and nobody in that room knew what to do next. That moment never left me.

I spent the next fifteen years building operational and sales systems for national brands — Andersen Windows, Swiss Miss, Reddi-Whip, Chef Boyardee. And I learned the same lesson over and over: when a business runs on a system instead of one person’s memory, growth stops being a mystery.

Then I did what most people in my position never do — I picked one industry on purpose. I wrote every business I could serve on a whiteboard and crossed them off one by one, until only stone fabrication was left. Nearly every shop I met was a first- or second-generation family business, built from nothing by hand. I reviewed three hundred CRMs before I chose one for this trade, then built so much custom workflow into it that Pipedrive named Grand Onyx their Global Rookie Partner of the Year in 2025.

I do all of this for one reason: I refuse to let another family business go to the grave the way my dad’s did.

I already know
your shop.
