01

Results & Outcomes

If your team follows the process and the systems are implemented correctly, many shops begin seeing measurable improvements within two months. Sales records are often broken within the first year as processes improve and lead flow becomes more predictable.

We analyze sales conversations, follow-up patterns, and close rates. AI evaluates how sales calls are handled and identifies where reps can improve — specific to the fabrication industry — such as asking better questions, setting appointments, or guiding the customer toward a decision. Small improvements in these areas often double close rates.

Top-performing inside salespeople in the fabrication industry typically generate between $2M and $3M in annual revenue when they have the right systems and lead flow supporting them.

02

Process & Implementation

It’s a free, roughly 90-second assessment that shows what stage your shop is at and the single fastest move to make next. It’s how almost everyone starts with us — a lightweight first look before the deeper Grand Growth Audit. Get your Growth Score.

The Grand Growth Audit is the first formal step in the engagement. It analyzes your sales performance, lead sources, missed calls, close rates, time to close, and how you rank against competitors online.

We connect to your systems, record sales calls, analyze marketing performance, and benchmark your business against other fabricators. The result is a detailed report and growth plan showing exactly what it will take to reach your next revenue level.

Data security and privacy are extremely important to us, and we provide an NDA upon request.

Typically six to eight weeks — in some cases up to two months, depending on the condition of the data in your systems. During that time we collect data, analyze your calls and sales process, and build the report.

Very little — usually about ten minutes per week with ownership or leadership. The analysis happens mostly behind the scenes; we validate the data with you and share what we’re discovering as we go.

We only need a login to your Moraware (or equivalent) and we install a small snippet of code on your website to record calls.

Yes. Data security and privacy are extremely important to us. We connect only to the systems we need, record sales calls to analyze them, and provide an NDA upon request. Nothing is shared outside the work we’re doing for you.

03

Technology & Systems

Moraware is designed primarily for quoting, scheduling, and production management — it isn’t built to manage the entire customer journey.

A CRM layer lets you track every call, text, email, and interaction with a prospect before they become a customer. Integrated with Moraware, you gain visibility into lead sources, follow-ups, close rates, and sales activity that Moraware alone doesn’t capture.

It automatically captures every phone call, email, text message, digital lead, and quote change related to a prospect, and connects directly to Moraware so sales activity and operational data stay linked.

That means you can see where leads came from, how long deals take to close, what reps are doing, and which opportunities need follow-up.

The system integrates with the major fabrication ERP platforms:

  • Moraware
  • Stone App
  • Stone Profit Systems
  • Action Flow
  • EasedEdge

We use Pipedrive as the sales CRM layer. Phone systems that support VoIP and texting can also integrate, so calls, texts, and emails log into the system automatically.

No. The system is designed to remove work from the sales team, not add to it. Call tracking, activity logging, and follow-up reminders are automated. The goal is for salespeople to spend more time with customers and less time managing software.

No. Much of the automation happens automatically in the background. Sales reps mainly focus on conversations with customers rather than managing software.

That’s very common — many fabricators have inconsistent or incomplete data. Cleaning and organizing it is part of the setup process, and we help address those issues during the audit. Most of the time we can complete the audit without changes by building workarounds inside our system.

We analyzed over 300 CRM platforms — including HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, Highrise, and even one literally called Less Annoying CRM.

We chose Pipedrive because it’s the simplest and most effective platform for real-world sales teams to actually use. Many CRMs, like HubSpot, are extremely powerful but often overly complex and require significant training and administration, which slows down busy fabrication teams. Pipedrive focuses on clarity, pipeline visibility, and ease of use — then we build our fabricator-specific tools, automations, and ERP integrations on top of that foundation.

Our work with the platform was recognized globally: we were named Pipedrive’s Global Rookie Partner of the Year in 2025.

04

Sales Strategy

Retail customers typically have higher margins, faster payment cycles, and simpler project management than wholesale accounts. Improving the retail process helps stabilize operations and sales before expanding into more complex B2B growth strategies.

Yes. Once the retail system is functioning well, we introduce what we call the Mason Approach, which focuses on developing relationships with builders, kitchen designers, and interior designers. This includes market analysis, identifying decision makers, and creating offers that encourage them to try your shop.

Sales and project management require different skill sets. Salespeople focus on building relationships and closing deals, while project managers focus on details, coordination, and execution. Separating these roles allows both to perform better and improves the customer experience.

05

Marketing Strategy

Paid advertising often produces short-term traffic but can be expensive and inconsistent. Instead, we focus on building authentic content from real projects — photos, stories, case studies, and customer experiences. Search engines and AI tools prioritize this type of content because it reflects real expertise and real work.

That’s perfectly fine. The Growth Audit will analyze your current marketing campaigns and determine whether they’re actually generating revenue or just vanity metrics such as clicks and impressions.

Not necessarily. If something is working, we keep it. If something is wasting money, we show you the data and recommend improvements.

A Slab Storyteller is typically a college marketing intern who documents projects — taking photos, writing case studies, and creating content about the work your shop performs. This authentic content improves search rankings, builds trust with customers, and helps your shop stand out online.

06

Commitment, Risk & Pricing

No. The service operates month-to-month. After the initial setup and Growth Audit, companies can continue using the system and coaching as long as they see value.

If a company decides they only want the software tools without the coaching or marketing support, they can downgrade to a lower monthly level — though they’ll lose coaching, advanced custom tools, early access to new features, and region exclusivity.

That’s completely possible. Many fabricators continue working with us because we constantly improve the system and provide ongoing insights — but companies can choose to operate the system independently without the additional services.

The relationship operates month-to-month. If either side decides the partnership is no longer a fit, the business can continue using the underlying CRM tools, but the proprietary systems, analytics, and coaching remain part of our service.

Yes — it’s how the system works, not a sales line. We partner with a single fabricator in a given market and help them own it, which is why reaching out early matters. Once a market closes, we can’t reopen it.

07

Your Team & Day-to-Day

That’s very common in fabrication businesses. One of the first things we analyze is unanswered calls and lead response time. Many shops discover they’re missing significant opportunities simply because calls or leads aren’t being followed up on consistently.

The goal of the system is to remove pressure from the team, not add to it. Much of the process is automated and supported by coaching, follow-up systems, and additional help like the Countertop Concierge, who assists with lead follow-up.

The most common additional cost is hiring a marketing intern or Slab Storyteller, typically working 15–20 hours per week creating content and documenting projects. This content drives organic marketing and helps you rank higher online.

Our founder, Tim, stays heavily involved during the early phases until the systems are stable and your team is comfortable using them. After that, the team handles most of the ongoing support while he continues working with owners on strategy and growth decisions.
